Whats something we all have in common?
Today Tomorrow and Yesterday. They might look different from one another but they are also the same thing.
Tomorrow is kind of an illusion huh? Always waiting on tomorrow to do something. Leaving notes and reminders to do the thing you want to do helps to make it tangible but really its today. Tomorrow will be today when its today. Tomorrow has robbed me of so much joy. “Ill tell that person how I feel tomorrow” “I’ll go to the gym tomorrow” yada yada yada Im sure if youre reading this you have done this.
Yesterday was today but its past. Its no more. You can’t change yesterday but today you can change how you see yesterday or the events that took place. It Is what it is and it isn’t what it isn’t
Today you have choices. You have the choice right now. This moment is a gift, the ultimate gift. It is what we all want. We all want to enjoy this moment, we want to make the most of this moment. We want love in this moment, we want to love this moment. We chase to be better so this moment can be more enjoyable or rewarding. We want a comfy house and nice couch so this moment is comfortable and entertaining. We want health and strength or flexibility so this moment we feel good in our body.
Today is our common ground. We converse about where we are at in this moment and how we view the past from right now, which sometimes gets stuck or is ever changing. We share our wishes for tomorrow and what we are going to do. We talk about our judgements or views that we are currently carrying with us.
Right now Im typing these words just letting the ideas flow out from something I heard in a song not to long ago. It made me think of what we have in common and that brought me to right now.
Some people are struggling right now. Some people are elated and excited. Some people are dying right now. Some are grieving. Some are getting married. Everything that has ever happened is happening right now.
Live your dreams right now. Thats the only thing to do. If you want love, love! If you want money go make money.
